A motorized machine used to move snow utilizing augers and or rotating fans to pick up the snow and propelling it laterally. These machines are available in a vast array of sizes from walk behind units traditionally used for walkways and paths, self-contained units that can be attached to a loader or other platforms for clearing snow from paths or congested areas, and larger self-propelled units for clearing deep snow from roadways.
In deep snow situations these machines can be utilized to remove snow from the edges of roadways in cases where plows are unable to adequately transport the snow from the roadway.
In urban areas these machines can be utilized to load snow into trucks for disposal.
